Today's post will be something different. I will be reviewing the popular US TV show Shameless. Shameless is one of those TV shows that you start and just cannot stop watching. I'm not even kidding—it has 11 seasons of straight entertaining storytelling.

The Gallagher Family and Their Challenges

Shameless is a show about a drug addict/alcoholic father, Frank Gallagher, and his six children: Fiona, Phillip, Ian, Debbie, Carl, and Liam. The show gets emotional and demonstrates real-life family domestic issues that happen in the world today. The main plot of this series centers on Fiona, the eldest among her five siblings, and the struggles she has as a young woman taking care of them.

A Deep Dive into Life in Chicago

The show expresses an in-depth view of all the children's lives and how they struggle with living in a run-down neighborhood in Chicago. This TV show had a toll on me emotionally as it puts your mindset as a viewer into the struggles these characters face in their daily lives, making you grateful for what you have. It’s one of those shows where you see positive story development and you just know something bad will happen.

Realistic Storytelling at Its Best

Nevertheless, the characters grow on you and transition through the different aspects they have on life, portraying the perfection of what good storytelling looks like in today's film and entertainment industry!
